Patient 24 is a white male in his 30s, has used Vicks Vaporub for many months with no success. Patient debrides his own nail, this was not recommended, but some patients still like to cut back loose nail on their own. Patient has been treating nails for 2 years. This is resistant case. Patient has been treating toenails one and two of his right foot. Patient's toenails are almost dystrophic, clearing is present, but 100% normal looking toenail may not be possible. Second toenail still improving slowly, patient describes.

Patient 25 is a white female in her 60s, prior history of treatment unknown, patient is still being followed up, so additional history will be taken, and case history updated. Patient has been treating her toenails for 1½ years. This patient may have some permanent damage to toenail due to long standing fungal infection, however patient looks better clinically than on picture.
